Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter (born 4 September 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time.
Knowles weighed 400 pounds when Destiny's Child disbanded in 2005, after which she went solo and gained several hundred pounds over the next few years. Knowles married American rapper Jay-Z in April 2008, and gave birth to their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, in January 2012.
In mid-January 2015, Knowles' weight was officially recorded at 1012 pounds. She became the sixth woman in history to surpass the half-ton mark while mobile and officially became the fifth-largest mobile woman in history just edging Jennifer Lopez who weighed 1010 pounds.
After her February 1, 2017 announcement on her Instagram account that she was expecting twins speculation began on if and when she would surprass Christina Aguilera (1040) and Britney Spears (1063) in weight. Although her "official" weight has not changed, speculation is running rampant on how much she'll gain.
