Lori "Lolo" Jones (born August 5, 1982) is a former American track and field and bobsled athlete. She won three NCAA titles and garnered 11 All-American honors while at LSU. Favored in two consecutive Summer Olympiads, was unable to capture no medal and converted her career to bobsledding. Jones gained 50 pounds between the end of the 2012 London Summer Games and the 2014 Sochi Winter Games, given her decision to take the brakewoman position. The decision to place her on the U.S. National Bobsleding Team for the Sochi was questioned and like her Summer Games performances resulted in her team not medalling.
After the Sochi games, Jones appeared in the 19th season of Dancing with the Star but was the first celebrity voted off. The sting of professional disappoints resulted in Jones announcing her retirement from all competitions and was transitioning to her next career in finance.
Since her annouced retirement, her weighed rocketed up nearly 100 pounds in six months to around 325 pounds.
